Oh, Lisa! This sounds amazing! You are learning so much so fast! It also sounds like you are surrounded by good people. I like that for you. Elephants in the forest? That is not how I picture them in my mind. You are seeing so many animals. It sounds like you are in one huge, natural habitat Zoo! But, no, it is the real thing!! There are 29 students in the group and 10 or 15 staff members. The students are from all over the country. Almost all of the girls are students but almost all of the staff members are men so that evens it out a little.
